1. Scope
These terms apply to all enquiries, bookings, vouchers and passenger transport services provided by Bezirkstaxi Donaustadt, Taxi Wien Flughafentransfer or Schreier Michael - Taxiunternehmen, unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing in an individual case.
2. Services
Services include taxi rides, pre-booked transfers, airport transfers, health and therapy rides, excursion rides, event rides and chauffeur rides, depending on the agreed service, availability and applicable legal rules.
3. Booking and contract
Booking enquiries can be made by phone, email, WhatsApp or online form. A binding transport contract is concluded only when Bezirkstaxi Donaustadt, Taxi Wien Flughafentransfer or Schreier Michael expressly confirms the ride, for example by email, phone or WhatsApp.
Automatic confirmations of receipt or non-binding information do not constitute binding acceptance of the booking.
Bookings may only be made through the official contact and booking channels of Bezirkstaxi Donaustadt, Taxi Wien Flughafentransfer or Schreier Michael. Direct bookings or arrangements with a driver are not permitted and cannot be confirmed or guaranteed by us. If a ride is nevertheless arranged directly with a driver outside our official booking channels, no contract is concluded with Bezirkstaxi Donaustadt, Taxi Wien Flughafentransfer or Schreier Michael; we assume no responsibility, no guarantee of performance and no liability for such rides, to the extent permitted by law.
4. Customer account and customer area
A customer account can be created on the website. It is used to manage bookings and communicate with the customer. Access data must be kept confidential and protected from unauthorised access.
The provider reserves the right to block or delete customer accounts in case of misuse or breaches of these terms.
5. Prices and payment
The prices agreed at the time of booking apply. If no fixed price has been agreed, billing is based on the applicable statutory or official rules for the taxi trade. Additional services or extra effort not included in the originally agreed scope of service may be charged separately where legally permitted and objectively justified.
Unless agreed otherwise, payment is due after completion of the ride.
6. Vouchers
Value vouchers and service-related vouchers may be requested via www.bezirkstaxi-donaustadt.at and the partner site www.taxi-wien-flughafentransfer.at. A voucher is issued or activated only after express confirmation and receipt of payment.
Vouchers may be redeemed for the service or value stated on the voucher. Unless agreed otherwise, value vouchers can be used flexibly for taxi, chauffeur, health and therapy rides as well as airport rides. They may be redeemed in partial amounts until the voucher value has been used up. Service vouchers generally apply to the ride or service stated on the voucher.
The voucher code must be provided when booking. Vouchers are transferable unless they have expressly been issued personally. Cash payment, interest or payout of remaining balances is excluded to the extent permitted by law; statutory rights remain unaffected.
A voucher can only be redeemed with a valid, readable voucher code. The voucher code must be printed on the voucher or clearly stated on it.
Paid vouchers are subject to the statutory limitation periods, unless a legally permissible longer or objectively justified different arrangement has been expressly agreed. In case of price changes, additional payments may be required for value vouchers if the voucher value is not sufficient for the desired service.
If a ride booked with a voucher is cancelled in good time and free of charge, the remaining voucher value remains available. In case of chargeable cancellations or no-shows, the voucher may be offset against justified cancellation or no-show costs.
7. Customer information
The customer must provide correct and complete information when booking, in particular name, phone number, email address, pickup location, destination, requested pickup time and, for airport transfers, additionally flight number, arrival time and terminal where known.
The customer is liable to the extent permitted by law for disadvantages, delays or additional costs caused by incorrect, incomplete or late information.
8. Waiting times
For pickups from Vienna Airport (VIE), 30 minutes waiting time from the actual landing time is included in the price. If pickup is delayed beyond this time, an additional 10 EUR per started 15 minutes may be charged.
Delays may be caused in particular by baggage claim, passport control, late appearance of the passenger or lack of reachability.
9. Cancellation by the customer
Cancellations must be communicated as early as possible.
- Cancellation is free of charge up to 24 hours before the agreed appointment.
- Less than 24 hours but at least 12 hours before the appointment, 50% of the agreed fare may be charged.
- Less than 12 hours before the appointment or in case of no-show, the full agreed fare may be charged.
The customer may prove that no damage or effort, or substantially lower damage or effort, occurred.
10. Airport transfers
For airport transfers, the customer must provide a correct flight number and the planned arrival time so that the actual arrival of the flight can be checked.
In case of flight delays, we try to adjust the pickup accordingly. However, pickup cannot be guaranteed in case of significant delays, especially delays of more than one hour, because scheduled subsequent rides must also be considered.
11. Passenger no-show
If the customer does not appear at the agreed pickup time and agreed location and cannot be reached by phone or other provided contact options, this is considered a no-show. In this case, the full agreed fare may be charged.
12. Waiting time at the pickup location
The driver waits at the agreed pickup location for up to 10 minutes after the agreed pickup time. Additional waiting time may, where possible, be charged at 10 EUR per started 15 minutes.
13. Soiling or damage to the vehicle
If a passenger significantly soils or damages the vehicle, the passenger must reimburse the resulting cleaning or repair costs according to the statutory provisions.
14. Transport of children
The passenger or accompanying person is generally responsible for compliance with the legal rules for transporting children. Required child seats or baby seats must be brought by the passenger and used properly unless expressly agreed otherwise in advance.
15. Transport of animals
Animals can generally be transported if this does not create a risk for the driver, vehicle or other passengers. The passenger is responsible for ensuring that animals are transported safely.
16. Payment and means of payment
Payment is generally due immediately after completion of the ride unless expressly agreed otherwise. The passenger must have a suitable means of payment available at the time of the ride.
17. Delays, traffic and force majeure
We strive to carry out all rides punctually. Time information is not a binding guarantee. Delays or obstacles to performance may arise in particular from traffic, accidents, road closures, weather conditions, official measures, demonstrations, technical defects or other unforeseeable events.
For time-critical appointments, such as flights, the customer must allow sufficient time buffer.
18. Driver unavailability and non-performance
If a confirmed ride cannot be carried out due to sudden illness of the driver, a technical defect of the vehicle or other unforeseeable circumstances, we will inform the customer as soon as possible where possible and try to organise an alternative solution.
If no replacement solution can be offered, the obligation to perform the ride ceases. Payments already made for this specific ride will be refunded in this case. Mandatory statutory claims remain unaffected.
19. Luggage and items carried
Passengers are responsible for their luggage and all items they carry. No liability is accepted for lost, forgotten or left behind items unless the damage was caused by intentional or grossly negligent conduct on our part.
20. Passenger duties and conduct
Seat belts must be worn in the vehicle. The driver's instructions required for safe performance of the ride must be followed. Passengers must behave in a way that does not endanger, soil or damage persons or the vehicle.
21. Refusal of transport
Transport may be refused or terminated if this is required for safety reasons or if an unreasonable burden exists, especially in case of aggressive behaviour, significant intoxication, danger to the driver, vehicle or other passengers, significant risk of soiling or damage, or inadmissible or dangerous items.
22. Liability
We are liable according to the statutory provisions. Liability for damage resulting from injury to life, body or health and for damage caused by intentional or grossly negligent conduct remains unaffected. For other damage, we are liable only where this is mandatory by law.
23. Data protection
Information on processing personal data is available in the privacy policy.
24. Final provisions
Austrian law applies, excluding conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer protection rules provide otherwise. If any provision of these terms is or becomes invalid in whole or in part, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
